How boudoir photography allows women to celebrate femininity
What to expect during a boudoir photo shoot
A boudoir photo shoot is intended to be a collaborative and creative process between you and the photographer, designed to produce beautiful and intimate images that celebrate your femininity.
It typically begins with a consultation between you and the photographer. This allows you to express your own personal style, preferences, and comfort level.
The photographer may ask about your favourite poses, clothing, or props, and will also give you guidance on preparation such as what to wear, bring, and how to prepare your hair and make-up.
On the day of the photo shoot, you’ll arrive at the studio or location where the photo shoot will take place. The photographer will usually begin with some initial shots to help you warm up and become comfortable in front of the camera. They will then guide you through different poses, including more intimate and suggestive ones, depending on your comfort level and preferences.
During the photo shoot, the photographer will take a variety of shots, including full-length, medium, and close-ups, as well as a mix of both posed and candid shots.
Afterwards, the photographer will edit and retouch the images. You can then choose your favourite images and decide how you want to receive them, such as in digital files, prints, or an album.
